‘The Office’ Star Rainn Wilson Visits the Seahawks in Renton

 

“Visit Renton, Washington and tip your waiters and waitresses,” said Rainn Wilson in a tweet showcasing a training day of the Seahawks.

Rainn Wilson spent some time here in Renton at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center with the Seahawks during an OTA day last month. You may know him better as Dwight Schrute, Assistant to the Regional Manager at Dunder Mifflin from the television comedy ‘The Office’.

Wilson has been a longtime Seahawks fan, originating from his childhood years growing up in North Seattle. He Tweeted a shout out to Renton and the Seahawks while at the facility, seen below.

 

 

 

Wilson was in Seattle to support his charity event “Rainn Wilson & Friends” that happened at the end of May. This special event will benefit the Mona Foundation, a locally based non-profit celebrating 20 years of partnering with and supporting grassroots initiatives around the world that provide education to all children, increase opportunities for girls and women, and emphasize service to the community.
